The stunning L came to visit me on the weekend and we shot her mini maternity session. What a fantastic spirit L has.. just so positive and happy! Don’t you just love being around people like that?? Leaves you feeling happy and content for the rest of the day! 
Anyways, our blog has been sooooo busy this week that I just haven’t had a chance to get her sneak up… but here you go L! I hope you enjoy them and much as I enjoyed shooting them!! Can’t wait to meet baby!
It wasn’t long after the wedding that D & J found out that they were pregnant….it seems like yesterday when i got the call with the news! Here we are almost 8 months later celebrating the new life that is about to join their family! I can’t wait to meet baby…she is a lucky little one for having such loving parents.

I had so much fun with a lovely couple today. They’ve taken advantage of the January “birthday” offer we’re extending and came in for their complimentary mini-maternity session. I can’t wait to meet their new little baby in a few weeks! Honestly, I think this may be my favorite part of the job… meeting these awesome couples that come in expecting their babies. You can see the excitement in their eyes and hear it in their voices as they describe that it’s the first grandbaby on both sides or that the nursery is almost done or that they can’t quite think of a name, but they’re confident it will come to them when they see her beautiful face.
Whatever it is, I love listening to their stories and remembering what it’s like to be waiting… expecting. And in a few weeks when they bring this little baby back that they’ve been waiting for, it’s so wonderful to see every single expectation was fulfilled in this teeny tiny sweet little baby.
I love my job.
Well, like we said, it’s our birthday week and we’ve got a LOT planned for this year. A LOT!

January 1st, 2010 marks Lucy Lime’s First Anniversary! That’s right! It’s been one whole year since we launched this little company of ours and we have to say that it’s been more than we could have ever hoped for. The response we have gotten from our past, current and new clients has been overwhelming and while it’s been a year of trial and error, it’s also been a year of success and we have all of you to thank!
This new year will hold lots of new things for Lucy Lime and we can’t wait to share it with you all! There’s only a couple things we can mention right now… First, we are proud to launch our new portfolio sites that we have been working hard on. Please do go check them out and feel free to send us some feedback on what you like and what you see could use some improvement. Our goal is to showcase our work in a simple, classic format that is easily navigated by our clients. We hope you enjoy what you see!

Also, we have changed up our pricing. The basis of the pricing stays the same, but we have altered the Collections so that you have more of a say of what you receive. Do you like to showcase your images as artwork displayed proudly on your walls? Wonderful! We have something for you! Perhaps you’d rather have some high quality smaller prints to hand out to the grandparents as gifts? Well, we have something for you too! We have been listening to your comments, and we hope that our changes are coming close to meeting the needs of all our clients! We still focus largely on offering digital files and are proud to be one of the few studios at our level to offer that option.
Well what would a birthday be without presents?!?! And of course, we wouldn’t be here without all of you… so here ya go!
