Abigail and her Sisters | Newborn Photography, North Vancouver, BC | Jillian Kirby

Today I had the absolute pleasure of photographing Miss Abigail. She was a total DREAM and slept the entire time! I heart sleepy babies.  ;)

Usually I suggest to parents that the newborn session might not be the best time to get sibling shots, just because we like to fuss with baby as little as possible to keep him/her in a good mood. And by the end of the session, little babes are usually done with me and my camera!!  ;)   But Miss Abigail’s big sisters were so lucky cause not only did her grandma drive them out to my studio at the end of the session, but Abigail decided to sleep so nicely for the photo too!

Thank you to all the ladies today! I had such a nice morning with all of you and can’t wait to see you again!

This is sweet Sophia! She LOVES to get her photo taken… she basically slept through the whole session! You can imagine, that made my job a lot easier!  ;)

It was sooo nice to meet you today Sophia (and it was nice to meet your mommy and daddy too!).

By the way folks, Shannon and I are headed to Vegas for WPPI (a huge photography convention) this week. So if it’s a little quite around here, know we’ll be back with lots of photos, new products and new ideas!!

Adam | Newborn Photography, South Surrey, BC | Jillian Kirby

Meet Mr. Adam. Oh he is just the cutest little thing ever… and his mommy definitely agrees! One of the great things about this job is that you get to see the absolute adoration that these new parents have for these little beings that have only been around for a few days. It’s truly amazing and I love it every time!!

Thanks L for coming by today. I had a wonderful time snuggling Adam and I hope you enjoy the images!! :)

It’s my pleasure to introduce to you, Noah! What a doll this little man was! He slept the ENTIRE session. I mean, not even a blink of an eye open. This little guy slept through all the set changes and all the posing that we did… just a little champ! I think he has a career in modeling ahead of him!  ;)

I honestly had the hardest time picking a few faves, because I totally love the whole session!

Bastien | Newborn Photography, Langley, BC | Jillian Kirby

This little man was my second model of the day on Saturday morning. Soooooo amazingly handsome but not an ounce sleepy!  ;)   At only 3 days old, he was my first baby boy of 2010 and though he broke my streak of girls, he kept with my streak of wide awake, uber alert little ones!

That’s ok though… cause check out these eyes! And the little details of this sweet guy were just sooo adorable! Thank you A for bringing Bastien over!
